
MADRID, June 19 -- Spanish BBVA Primera Liga clubs Real Sociedad and Rayo Vallecano will play each other in a friendly game in China on June 29th.
The news which was confirmed on the clubs' respective websites is a result of the fact that both outfits have share the same sponsor; the Chinese mobile applications company Qbao and the match will be played in Nanjing, where Qbao have their headquarters.
The match will take place in the Wutaishan Stadium, where the 2014 Youth Olympic Games were celebrated.
Real Sociedad, who are now coached by former Manchester United boss, David Moyes, will travel to China on June 26 and as well as playing in Nanjing, the club will also travel to Shanghai to participate in publicity act.
The news reflects the growing interest from Spanish football clubs in trying to open up the Chinese market and Real Sociedad and Rayo Vallecano, both of whom finished in mid-table last season are in good company given that Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia are also heading to China to play friendly matches this summer.
