
TEHRAN, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Monday said that Iran is ready to further develop relations with China in all fields of mutual interest, and welcomes China's investment in Iranian projects.
The president made the remarks while receiving the credential presented by Chang Hua, new ambassador of China to Iran, at the presidential office in Tehran.
Rouhani stressed that the Belt and Road Initiative is very important for both China and Iran.
"We welcome China's more cooperation and investment in Iran," he said.
Chang added that Chinese government insists on maintenance and implementation of the Iran nuclear deal.
"We are also seeking ways to further develop relations between the two countries in cultural, commercial and transportation fields," Chang said.
