No third party should interfere in territory, maritime disputes: Chinese FM spokesperson

BEIJING, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday that disputes over territory and maritime rights and interests should be settled through negotiation and consultation by countries directly concerned, and no third party is in any position to interfere in that.
Guo made the remarks in response to a media query regarding the India-Philippines joint exercises in the South China Sea this week.
