Zhao Xiaoxi, 7, is a girl in Dianliu village of Jinan city, east China's Shandong province. When she was two years old, her mother lost both legs in a traffic accident and her parents divorced. From then on she and her mother have stuck together and helped each other in difficulties.

This 7-year-old girl is quite skilled in boiling water, making noodles and dumplings. She tried to do housework at the age of three. She never complains and always smiles facing the sufferings and hard work.

"On the Children's Day, I always take my daughter to eat pizzas," said Zhao Yijing, Xiaoxi's mother.

"I don't need to eat pizza. I will be very happy as long as my mother is good," said Zhao Xiaoxi.
